Welcome to Cal Poly Humboldt’s accreditation website. Here you will find complete information related to the university’s accreditation by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).

Cal Poly Humboldt’s Accreditation Coordinating Committee is preparing for the university’s upcoming reaffirmation of its WSCUC accreditation. The committee members will soon be joined by a number of faculty, staff, and students to form a steering committee to guide the preparation of the institutional report due in June 2025.

The WSCUC accreditation team assigned to Cal Poly Humboldt (membership TBD) will evaluate the university’s report and present preliminary findings to the steering committee in a formal offsite review via video conference in the fall of 2025. Within a week of this review, the team will offer the university commendations, lines of inquiry that will guide the spring campus visit, requests for additional information, as necessary, and an itinerary for the spring visit. The team will then visit campus for three days of interviews in March or April of 2026.
